Latino Comp and getting over a cold

First week with my Latino comp! I've learned so much spanish this week, Its crazy!!

I'm still miles away from being fluent, but i'm starting to see progress. The other interesting thing that happened this week is that I got a little bit of a cold/sore throat on wed. The only reason that is even it kinda interesting was because of the way I went about getting healthy. With that being said, mom you'll be proud, because I went the natural way of getting healthy. We went to the store and I got myself some lemons and honey, and some garlic.  and when I got home I made some hot honey lemon water, gargled salt water, took some cyan pepper pills and a whole clomp of garlic( like all 10 cloves) and went to bed.

the next day I was feeling a little better, but no mater what i did I couldn't get the smell of garlic off me, and It wasn't necessarily the good kind of garlic smell. to get a sense of how bad it was, elder fuller and elder mendez both had really stuffy noses, and when we got on the bus in the morning, fuller and mendez sat on a bench opposite me, and half way through the bus ride elder fuller turned to mendez and mentioned how the person in front of us really needed a shower,... It wasn't until after that elder fuller realized that it was me that smelled =P  dont worry though, it got rid of the cold, and I don't smell any more. lol but we did have a good laugh that night.
