Summary:
Walking back from a members house and Elder Fuller and I was talking and walking on a road with construction and no lights...

Suddenly Elder Fuller was gone. I turned and looked back and Elder Fuller had fallen down a 10 foot hole. He was all muddy but was ok, he was a little shaken at the moment but afterward we all had a good laugh.

The rule of the mission is they cannot be out after 5:30pm without a member to go with them. The stat reported to mission is "Day wasted" due to the 5:30pm rule. They had gone all week without a "day wasted"
However one night it looked like it was going to be a "day wasted" because They couldn't find anyone to go with them.  They had one more prayer, Clint thought of a person to go visit so they called a member that lived near to the person and they said they could. Clint said he believes the Holy Ghost guided there thoughts and everything worked out.

Sunday they have10 investigators lined up to got to church. They stopped by to pickup one of their investigators and family. They the investigator was not ready but they said to the Elders to go on ahead and they will get ready and come.
The mission has a rule that says they the missionaries can't miss sacrament meeting.
They also have another mission rule that says they can't go to sacrament meeting without an investigator.
So Elder Fuller and Clint left after taking the sacrament and went to find their investigor. The Family was still not ready and not likely to be ready soon, so they called other people on the phone and no answer, so they started inviting people on the street to come to church.
Clint makes an analogy that its probably like mom felt when trying to get everyone to eat healthy food. But mom can't make us kids eat the food. The investigators are the same they the missionaries know it is good for the people but they can't make them internalize the gospel.
Clints mentions he is being frugal and discovered that beans are low cost, however when he mentions this to his companioin Elder Fuller. His companion isn't thrilled about this news because of the gaseous side effects of eating beans.
